That's great?

Customer behind me with a stack of newspapers.

Cashier: Who got in the paper?

Customer: My son.

Cashier: Wow! That's great! What did he do that was so special?

Customer: He died.

reallybadpoetry - i know someone whose mother recently died, and i know he bought a couple of copies for himself and for family. it's a pretty normal thing.

but yeah anyway, that is pretty terrible, oof.
